(sorry for my bad english... je double plus bas en fran?ais)

Hello,

In my Psensor frame, I've more lines that I don't understand what it to match
SYSTIN
CPUTIN
AUXTIN
PECI Agent 0

I've tried to remove it :
[file /etc/sensors.d/ignoreAUTRE]
chip "nct6776-*"
ignore temp0
ignore CPUTIN
ignore AUXTIN
ignore "lmsensor nct6776-isa-0290 PECI Agent 0"

but don't work.

I'm a Asus P8P67 Motherboard

Two questions :
- what to match this probe ?
- why remove it if it don't match with nothing ?

Thank you

.......... (en fran?ais)

Bonjour,

Dans ma fen?tre de Psensor, j'ai plusieurs lignes dont je ne comprends pas ? quoi elles
correspondent :
SYSTIN
CPUTIN
AUXTIN
PECI Agent 0

J'ai essay? de les supprimer :
[fichier /etc/sensors.d/ignoreAUTRE]
chip "nct6776-*"
ignore temp0
ignore CPUTIN
ignore AUXTIN
ignore "lmsensor nct6776-isa-0290 PECI Agent 0"

mais ?a n'a rien donn?.

J'ai une carte m?re Asus P8P67

Deux questions :
- ? quoi correspondent ces sondes ?
- comment enlever ces lignes si elles ne servent pas ?

Merci beaucoup

Run "sensors -u" to see the label to attribute association. SYSTIN/CPUTIN/AUXTIN
will be temp1..temp3.

In fact, I've two files in my /etc/sensors.d/ :
- ignoreFANs
- ignoreAUTRE
and in the two, I put the same first line (chip "nct6776-*")... but in "ignoreAUTRE",
there is an error :
Error: File /etc/sensors.d/ignoreAUTRE~, line 7: Parse error in chip name
I see it when I run "sensors - u"

I replace chip "nct6776-*" by chip "nct6776-isa-0290"... and it work fine

I don't understand why two same lines (copy/paste)... are not same !?!

Thank you very much

They are not. Pay attention to the exact file name reported:
ignoreAUTRE~. The trailing ~ indicates a backup copy of the file,
created by your text editor. "sensors -s" doesn't know it should ignore
this file. So you must delete this backup file manually.

Merci beaucoup pour cette explication, je suis vraiment con - et aveugle

Thank you very much, it's a fine explanation, i'm a guy sometime...
